Twenty-three-year-old daily vlogger Alfie Deyes is readying his fourth literary effort — another activity book dubbed Pointless Book 3.
Published in the U.S. by Blue Streak Books, a division of Bonnier, the title — which takes its name from Deyes’ YouTube channel, Pointless Blog — hits shelves on July 18. (In the U.K., it will be available on July 13). Like Pointless Book and Pointless Book 2, the third installment serves as an interactive journal inviting readers to try various challenges, games, pranks, and activities at home. In addition to the interactive books, Deyes, who counts roughly 11.5 million subscribers across his three YouTube channels, also released The Scrapbook Of My Life — an autobiography — last year.
Beyond new challenges, Pointless Book 3 will feature a compatible app touting exclusive videos. The first Pointless Book in the series, released in September 2014, promptly shot to the top of the Amazon charts in the U.K.
In addition to his literary endeavors, Deyes and a slew of fellow U.K. YouTube stars are set to headline an inaugural live event dubbed HelloWorld this October in Birmingham. The two-day bash will comprise performances, skits, and interactive engagements with fans. Other creators on the roster include Caspar Lee, Jim Chapman, Joe Sugg, Louise Pentland, Marcus Butler, KSI, Rose & Rosie, and Deyes’ girlfriend, Zoella.
