Autistic Creator Carly Fleischmann Teams With Fine Brothers On YouTube Talk Show

As a young girl, Carly Fleischmann was diagnosed with autism and a condition that prevented her from speaking out of her mouth. Now, the enterprising and wickedly funny 22-year-old is launching her very own digital talk show with a little help from the YouTube veterans at Fine Brothers Entertainment (FBE).

Fleischmann communicates by typing on her computer, and, in addition to a 2012 memoir called Carly’s Voice: Breaking Through Autism, she launched very own YouTube talk show in May called Speechless With Carly Fleischmann. During her inaugural interview with Channing Tatum, the two discussed Tatum’s childhood, marriage, and his greatest fears in a hilarious seven-minute conversation. The clip subsequently catapulted to viral renown and has currently clocked 3.8 million views.

Now, Fleischmann’s digital profile is set to keep on growing. After FBE featured her in their YouTubers React series last July, which helped her gain even more subscribers, the digital media company subsequently pacted with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Fleischmann to produce future episodes of Speechless, which will be released monthly on her channel. FBE will also air promos for Speechless on its flagship YouTube channel to help spread the word.
