Recently, Studio71 announced a hire that forecasts its plan to have a bigger presence in the TV and streaming industries. At the same time, the digital media company isn’t abandoning its core business. It has announced that it has added eight new creative partners to its network, including commentator Joe Santagato, sketch comedian Julian Smith, and musician Trevor Moran.
Beyond the three creators mentioned above, the other five channels that are teaming up with Studio71 are Domo and Crissy, a couple that offers daily vlogs; Onyx Kids, an up-and-coming family channel; Sarah Baska, a vlogger; Tanner Braungardt, who is known for completing challenges and stunts; Tre Melvin, a creator known for his web series This Is A Commentary; and Vat19, a product review. Together, Studio71’s eight new signees will 18 million subscribers to the network.
Studio71 will offer a typical suite of digital media services to its new partners, including audience development, brand partnerships, and content opportunities. “As the newest additions to our Premium Creators group, we will work closely with them to not only build their already massive fan base, but to establish relevant brand partnerships,” said Studio71 President Dan Weinstein in a press release. “We’re excited to work with these talented creators and look forward to helping them further grow their global audiences.”
In total, Studio71’s network spans more than 1,200 channels.
