Roman Atwood Wants Help Naming Soon-To-Be-Born Daughter In Live.me Broadcast

Controversial prankster and daily vlogger Roman Atwood is going full-on Truman Show with the forthcoming birth of his baby daughter, who is due this summer. After announcing last November that he and his girlfriend, Brittney Smith, were expecting, Atwood revealed that they were having a little girl last week in a vlog that has thus far has clocked roughly 6 million views (below).

And now, in a continued bid to keep his followers in the loop, Atwood is taking to livestreaming platform Live.me to help select the baby’s name.

Scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 4 pm ET, Atwood is partnering with Live.me for a baby-naming broadcast. “The couple will be taking suggestions from fans and viewers, hoping for help on deciding and picking a name, live in front of everyone,” a rep for the company told Tubefilter. Atwood, 33, has two other sons — 12-year-old Noah and 5-year-old Kane.

And this isn’t the first time that Atwood has teamed with Live.me to broadcast a buzzworthy event. Last August, he destroyed a police car with a monster truck in a stream that attracted more than 1.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched broadcast in Live.me history. Atwood has also used Live.me to stream with fellow online stars, including Yousef ‘FouseyTube’ Erakat, with whom he recently dropped a documentary chronicling their Roman Vs. Fousey worldwide tour.

When Atwood completed his last stunt, Live.me catapulted to the 29th most popular free app on the iTunes charts. It remains to be seen whether the baby-naming event will do similar numbers for the streaming service.
