Netflix’s New Year’s Countdown Videos For Kids To Feature ‘Chasing Cameron’, ‘Fuller House’

This New Year’s Eve, Netflix is once again hatching a ploy to help parents put their children to sleep before midnight. In a tradition dating back two years, the streaming giant is set to provide a total of 10 on-demand New Year’s Eve countdown videos, which parents can press play on at any point in the evening to trick their kids into thinking they’ve made it to midnight.

The 10 videos, ranging in length from one to five minutes, will feature characters from some of Netflix’s most popular childrens’ series, including ratings juggernaut Fuller House, Word Party, Puffin Rock, Luna Petunia, Beat Bugs, All Hail King Julien, Skylanders Academy, Trollhunters, Project Mc2, and even Chasing Cameron — the just-launched reality series starring social media guru Cameron Dallas

.

“Netflix is all about giving members the freedom to decide when and how to watch, and the New Year’s Eve countdowns do just that,” Netflix’s director of kids content, Andy Yeatman, told The Huffington Post. “They put families in charge of the holiday, whether that means celebrating at nine and then lights out, or ringing in the New Year over and over again.”
