Netflix’s ‘Chasing Cameron’ To Feature Magcon Hijinks And Lots Of Tears (Trailer)

Social media heartthrob Cameron Dallas is set to hit the Netflix airwaves on Dec. 27 with his new series, Chasing Cameron. And by the looks of a full-length trailer officially unveiled by the streaming giant today, there will be shrieking fans, bloody injuries, gratuitous shirtlessness, and lots of tears.

Chasing Cameron will follow Dallas, who rose to fame on soon-to-be-shuttered Vine (the trailer oddly claims his star was born on Instagram five years ago) as he embarks on the first international Meet And Greet Convention (MAGCON) Tour. Joining him on the road are fellow social media personalities Aaron Carpenter, Taylor Caniff, Willie Jones, Trey Schafer, and Blake Grey, and Chasing Cameron

will capture all of the behind-the-scenes drama.

The series marks something of a hallmark for the influencer realm as only the second-ever Netflix series to be headlined by a digital creator. The first, Colleen Ballinger’s Haters Back Off — a scripted sitcom about the beloved Miranda Sings YouTube character — debuted to mixed reviews.

Netflix has yet to renew Haters Back Off for a second season — though the company has renewed every single original series it has commissioned thus far.
