YouTube Star LaToya Forever Launches Game In Which You Take Her Daughter To School

A new entry in the “endless runner” genre of mobile gaming comes from LaToya Forever. The Canadian YouTube star has attached her personal brand to Save Samia, in which plays must race through the streets of Toronto in order to get LaToya’s daughter Samia to school on time.

Like other endless runner games, Save Samia challenges players by placing all sorts of obstacles in their path. By ducking, dodging, sidestepping, and jumping over these impediments, players can rack up the points and achieve high scores. The app’s gameplay is on display in a short trailer posted to the LaToya’s Life YouTube channel.

Thanks to her stories, sketches, vlogs, and other videos, LaToya has emerged as one of Canada’s most popular YouTube stars. Her primary LaToya Forever channel has more than one million subscribers, and the members of her family have emerged as regular fixtures in her videos. In Save Samia

, the playable characters include both LaToya and her husband Adam, but the real star is Samia herself, who has become a social media star in her own right. Her Instagram feed — which will likely be the cutest thing you look at all day — has close to 100,000 followers.

Save Samia is free, and as you can see in the image above, LaToya is proudly advertising that her game has no ads. There are, however, some in-game microtransactions available. If you’re a LaToya fan who wants to help Samia get to school, you can pick up Save Samia for iOS or Android. It’s also available in-browser through Facebook.
