‘Now We’re Talking’ Rolls Out Its Comedy Of Errors On Go90

A show about a pair of inept broadcasters is currently generating laughs on Go90. Now We’re Talking, a scripted series from Warner Bros.’ Blue Ribbon Content and Uninterrupted, recently launched its third episode, with four more to come.

Now We’re Talking stars Tug Coker and Tommy Dewey as Tug and Tommy, a pair of washed-up NFL quarterbacks — one starter and one backup — who look to get into the commentary game. Due in part to the personal animosity they share toward one another, they make for a terrible on-screen duo. As the show’s trailer suggests, their chemistry is so awful that their broadcasts take on a “so bad it’s good” feel among fans.

Uninterrupted is known as a video platform on which athletes can share their thoughts directly with viewers, and Now We’re Talking features plenty of cameo appearances from pro athletes past and present. In a clip from the third episode, Tug and Tommy visit a team coached by former NFL players Lance Briggs and Plaxico Burress. Once there, they prepare to deliver a classic sports show trope: An inspirational pep talk.

In total, the first season of Now We’re Talking will consist of seven episodes. New installments will arrive each week on Go90, which is available from the Go90 website and can be run on both iOS and Android devices.
