Three YouTube stars who are collectively referred to as the video site’s “Holy Trinity” are getting ready to party. The second trailer has arrived for Dirty Thirty, a feature film that will star Mamrie Hart, Grace Helbig, and Hannah Hart.
In Dirty Thirty, Mamrie Hart will start as Kate, whose friends (played by Helbig and Hannah Hart) throw her a huge 30th birthday bash in order to cheer her up. The party turns into a legendary rager, and the film’s three leading ladies must bond together to make things right after the events of the evening do not go as planned. In the new trailer, viewers see the Holy Trinity in action. We also get a few glimpses of several guest stars; among them are fellow YouTube stars Anna Akana, Chester See, and Flula Borg, all of whom will appear as party attendees.
Dirty Thirty was first announced back in October 2015 when it was picked up by Lionsgate. Michael Goldfine, who also produced the Holy Trinity’s first film Camp Takota, has returned to produce the trio’s second flick as well, with Andrew Bush directing and Mamrie Hart and Molly Prather writing the script. Fans of the movie’s three stars will be able to watch it beginning on September 23rd, when it will become available for digital download from iTunes, Amazon, and several other platforms.
Also, about six weeks after the film’s release, Hannah Hart will celebrate her own 30th birthday. Does life imitate art? If it does, perhaps the events of the night will inspire a sequel.
