Here’s The Full List Of Streamy Award Nominees

For the sixth time, the Streamy Awards will honor the best content the online video industry has to offer. Tubefilter and Dick Clark Productions’ annual awards show has announced its 2016 nominees, and the field is led by perennial winner Epic Rap Battles of History and newcomer Oscar’s Hotel For Fantastical Creatures, both of which earned four nominations.

The revealed nominees span 42 categories. Beyond ERB, other previous Streamy winners to score at least three nominations this year include FouseyTUBE and Grace Helbig. At the same time, the 2016 selection is the first field in Streamy Award history to include multiple nominees from paywalled platforms like YouTube Red and Vimeo On Demand, which have spent the past 12 months funding high-value shows from digital media stars. Standouts from up-and-coming video platforms were also recognized, particularly in the new Live category, where the nominees include the stars of streaming apps YouNow and Live.me.

The nominees were announced during a ceremony hosted by YouTube star GloZell Green and presented by OWNZONES. Now that the contenders have been

determined, the Streamys’ Blue Ribbon Panel, which set this year’s field (and of which, full disclosure, I am a member), will select the winners. Those victors will be honored during the Streamy Awards broadcast on October 4th.

“This year’s Streamy Nominees represent the most diverse range of creators the Streamy Awards have ever seen, with stars on new and emerging platforms,” said Streamy Awards founder Drew Baldwin in a press release. “Creators have reached new heights in how they captivate, inspire, educate, and entertain us—with new technologies, new formats and new ways to engage with their communities. We’re honored to be celebrating these achievements with such a brilliant class of creative people.”

The nominees in the two fan-voted categories, Entertainer of the Year and Show of the Year, will be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, here are the nominees in the other 41 categories:
