YouTube’s ‘Holy Trinity’ announced this evening at VidCon that Dirty 30, the highly-anticipated follow-up to their debut film Camp Takota, will be released digitally and in select theaters on September 23. Four days later, a DVD of the film — starring online luminaries Hannah Hart, Mamrie Hart, and Grace Helbig — will also be available exclusively at Target.
The film is available for preorder right now on iTunes and Amazon, and will arrive tomorrow on Google, FandangoNow, and CinemaNow. The film will also be available for preorder on Vudu in coming weeks.
Dirty 30, penned by Mamrie Hart, tells the story of three lifelong friends whose lives are in a rut. But things quickly spiral out of control during a 30th birthday party. The film is sprinkled with cameos from a who’s-who of fellow YouTube stars, including Anna Akana, Flula Borg, Drew Monson, Rhett & Link, Timothy DeLaGhetto, Chester See, Josh Leyva, Lloyd Ahlquist, Ashley “Lee” Newton, and Mikey Murphy.
Lionsgate acquired Dirty 30, which is being produced by Camp Takota collaborator Michael Goldfine, last October.
