Days after flexing her modeling muscles as the face of BooHoo’s spring-summer 2016 campaign, Amanda Steele has signed with WME and IMG Models.
Steele, who has also proven her fashion industry prowess with a hot-selling sunglasses collection alongside Australian brand Quay, will work with the talent and modeling agencies “to expand her brand throughout fashion, film, television, digital, and endorsements,” according to a press release.
The 16-year-old initially rose to fame with beauty tutorials posted to her six-year-old YouTube channel, MakeupbyMandy24, which today counts nearly 3 million subscribers. In addition to her recent foray into modeling, Steele has also successfully tried her hand at acting, starring in Guidance, a drama for Verizon’s Go90 platform that WME says has been its most successful show launch to date.
Steele will continue to be managed by Lisa Filipelli at Big Frame.
In addition to Steele, WME has signed a slew of digital influencers in recent years, including The Fine Brothers, HolaSoyGerman, RocketJump, Caspar Lee, Casey Neistat, Kenzie Nimmo, Defy Media and more.
