Ticketmaster is looking to support its status as a useful destination for event tickets by producing more video content, and it is now specifically honing in on its youngest users. It has launched a new destination called Minimaster that recommends family-friendly events and shares blog posts and videos aimed at kids.
Minimaster features a bright, colorful design, and its videos highlight specific events that both children and their parents can enjoy. One of first videos available on the new site, for example, explores “The Greatest Show On Earth” by heading to the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus:
Other Minimaster content includes a “Back to School” sweepstakes that will award a $500 Ticketmaster gift card to its grand prize winner.
Ticketmaster has spent the past few months increasing its video output through a smattering of original web series and one-off releases. Minimaster, which features four videos at launch, will add to that production spree; Ticketmaster will create 1-2 new videos each month for its young viewers to enjoy.
