Vimeo Studio To Offer Creator-Focused Sessions At VidCon

Vimeo Studio To Offer Creator-Focused Sessions At VidCon

From July 23-25, online video creators, fans, and executives will take over the Anaheim Convention Center for the 2015 edition of VidCon. The yearly event dedicated to web video will include dozens of sessions, and several of those presentations will be hosted by Vimeo. The online video platform will run a space called the Vimeo Studio, at which VidCon attendees will be able to recharge their devices, grab some coffee, and attend sessions led by important figures in the web video world.

The Vimeo Studio slate will feature a number of creators who are selling their work directly to fans through the Vimeo On Demand. For example, Sawyer Hartman and PJ Ligouri–who are both bringing full series to Vimeo thanks to a deal with New Form Digital–will both chat about their projects. Other featured guests include members of RocketJump and Wong Fu Productions, which have both used Vimeo On Demand to sell high-quality content.

The focus will certainly be on Vimeo, and we expect the featured creators to extol the monetary advantages of the host platform. At the same time, the Vimeo Studio sessions (which will only be available to Creator and Industry Track attendees) will spotlight some of the most interesting and important characters who will be in attendance at VidCon. If you’ll be in Anaheim, you’d be wise to listen to what they have to say.
