Shane Dawson “Full Of Love” As He Comes Out As Bisexual

For years, Shane Dawson has been one of YouTube’s most familiar faces, and as his star has grown, so too have rumors about his sexuality. Given his somewhat flamboyant manner and his propensity to cross-dress in his videos, “Is Shane Dawson gay?” became a common question.

As it turns out, Dawson’s sexuality is a bit more complicated than just gay or straight. In an emotional video, the YouTube star has come out as bisexual and informed his viewers about the sexual confusion he has struggled with for most of his life.

In the video, Dawson cites other YouTubers who have come out, such as beauty star Ingrid Nilsen. He laments not being gay, as he believes it would make his admission much easier. Instead, he reveals a life of uncertainty and explains how this uncertainly has informed much of his life, such as the struggles with weight that are well-known parts of his backstory

and his recent relationship with fellow YouTube star Lisa Schwartz.

Ultimately, Dawson hopes his video will help out viewers who are facing similar decisions about their sexuality. “Love who you want to love,” he says. “Life is short. No one is going to hate you for it…I’m this way for a f**king reason. I can love multiple people for a reason, and I think that’s why I am where I am today, because I’m just so full of love.”

Some of Dawson’s fans have already started imagining slash pairings that can now be realized, but what’s more important is that Dawson can now be comfortable in his skin. With lots of support behind him, he can live his life openly and honestly.
