An original Full House cast member has decided to return for Netflix’s upcoming reboot of the classic ‘90s show. Dave Coulier confirmed via his Twitter account he would reprise his role as Uncle Joey on Netflix’s upcoming Fuller House.
Coulier posted a picture of himself with the show’s director, Big Bang Theory’s Mark Cendrowski, and stated his return to the Full House reunion. Coulier joins confirmed returning cast members Candace Cameron-Bure as D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler, and John Stamos as Uncle Jesse (Stamos is also producing Fuller House). The 13-episode series will re-introduce viewers to D.J., a widowed expectant mother of soon-to-be three boys, who gains support from her sister Stephanie and best friend and fellow single mom Kimmy.

Rumors originally started circulating back in early April about Netflix’s intentions to pick up Full House for a new season. Stamos confirmed those suspicions a few weeks later on Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying the revival had been a “labor of love” for many years, and it wasn’t until Netflix came along that it felt right to finally bring Full House back.
No official release date has been announced for Fuller House as of yet, but Netflix has slated the show to debut in 2016.
