Philip DeFranco Launches A Vlog Channel For His Family

Philip, Lindsay, and Trey DeFranco are welcoming viewers into their lives with a new video outlet. The young family of three started the new YouTube channel The DeFranco Fam on April 13, 2015, to chronicle their household and family adventures.

In a welcome video on the new channel, Lindsay DeFranco says the family isn’t really sure what they’re going to do with The DeFranco Fam vertical, but they’re going to “mess around, see what works, see what doesn’t, and go from there.” Currently, the DeFrancos are uploading clips of their daily family interactions as well as Q&A videos on Friday. With their new channel, the DeFrancos are following in the footsteps of well-known household vloggers like Shay Carl and his family’s Shaytards channel, which has been home to almost daily video uploads since way back in 2008.

DeFranco has never been shy about his personal life. The prolific vlogger (who still uploads four news-and-pop-culture-filled videos a week to his main YouTube channel more than two years after it was acquired by Discovery Digital

and Revision3) was very open with fans about his father’s kidney transplant. DeFranco has also made several personal, life-event announcements at his live events, even proposing to his then-girlfriend and now-wife Lindsay in front of 600 fans during his DeFranco Does Arizona (aka DeFranco Loves Dat AZ) show back in August 2013.

Mrs. DeFranco has also shared her life with followers, getting her start on YouTube as a travel vlogger and even appearing on TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress when picking out her gown for her nuptials to Phil. Both DeFranco parents have also actively shared objectively adorable pictures and video of their son Trey on social media since his birth.

The DeFranco Fam channel already boasts over 110,000 subscribers and over 1.1 million total video views since its launch on April 13.
