Demi Lovato, Jack & Jack To Perform At DigiFest NYC 2015

DigiFest NYC has just enlisted its main musical attraction. Demi Lovato will headline the third annual DigiFest NYC event on June 6, 2015, at Citi Field in Queens.

Lovato will be joined by several YouTube and Vine stars at the live event tailored for the digital generation. Popular Vine-duo-turned-rappers Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky (otherwise known as Jack & Jack) are set to perform at the third annual iteration of DigiFest NYC, too. Trevor Moran, Sam Pottorff, Teala Dunn, Rickey Thompson, Luke Korns, and Aaron Carpenter will also make appearances.

The powers that be at DigiFest have also rounded out their New York City event schedule with activities beyond performances and fan meet-and-greets. Along with Sony Music, DigiFest NYC will give up-and-coming stars the chance to show their skills via the #URNEXT contest. Hopeful performers can submit a clip of them singing and dancing on DigiFest’s site to be considered for an on-stage performance at the event and a meeting with Sony Music executives.

Additionally, the Invisalign-sponsored kissing booth will give DigiFest NYC attendees the chance to win a kiss from their favorite YouTubers. And Galderma Laboratories (creator of Benzac Acne Solutions

) has set up the “Be a Benzac Breakout Star” booth to offer fans the opportunity to be their own DigiFest star by getting in front of a camera.

“As the line between social media and mainstream media continues to blur, we’re excited to welcome pop music sensation Demi Lovato to our 3rd annual DigiFest NYC,” said DigiTour Media co-founders Meridith Valiando Rojas and Chris Rojas in a release. “As a millennial herself, Demi is the kind of artist Digi’s fans look up to, making her the perfect addition to our festival this year.”

DigiFest is part of the DigiTour Media brand, which made plans to double the amount of shows (and triple the amount of tickets sold) for its flagship DigiTour events in 2015. The live events company is also trying its hand at a merchandise-subscription service, and has hired ex-Fullscreen financial executive Jonah Minton to help grow DigiTour’s revenue and business.

General admission tickets for DigiFest NYC start at $35, and VIP packages go for at least $99. You can purchase your tickets for the digital star-studded event via DigiFest’s official website.
