In “Lana Steele,” IISuperwomanII Will Be More Than A Pretty Face

On her YouTube channel, Lilly Singh–who goes by the moniker iiSuperwomanii–has proven herself to be a successful vlogger, comedienne, and musician. Now, Singh will get a chance to be a secret agent as well. She is the star of Lana Steele: Makeup Spy, an upcoming web series that will provide a unique blend of makeup with espionage.

Lana Steele will follow the adventures of its titular character, who must solve a set of riddles left by her enemies and track down a dangerous invention. Along the way, according to a press release, Lana will use the “transformational art of makeup” to go undercover in various situations. The result, per the release, is “Alias meets eyeliner.”

A trailer for the series shows that Lana Steele will not be a typical makeup series. Singh, who has 5.2 million subscribers and 616 million views on her main channel, will show off a number of intricate “looks,” but she will also battle bad guys, charm her enemies, and find herself in all sorts of sticky situations:

In total, Lana Steele will run for 12 episodes. New installments will arrive each Friday on ilovemakeup, with the debut episode kicking off the action on March 13th and the finale wrapping it up on May 22nd.
