Megan Nicole Dons Neon Legwarmers For “Electrified,” Promotes EP Album

YouTube is by no means short on cover artists, but Megan Nicole has many of the others beat. Her success at remaking many of today’s most popular tunes has led to her first album, which she teased by uploading the music video for her original song “Electrified.”

The music video harkens back to the big, poofy hair, neon legwarmers, and intense makeup styles of the 80’s. In the song’s storyline, Nicole keeps running into a young man at the gym who makes her feel “electrified” as she takes a yoga class, walks on the treadmill, and jabs a punching bag. Originally released yesterday exclusively to People

, Nicole has now uploaded the video to YouTube as well.
