Third WatchLOUD.com Web Series From Eminem’s Studio Comes To Fuse TV

Eminem‘s Shady Films production company is closely tied to the entertainment website WatchLOUD.com, and that partnership is now bringing a new series to TV. Shady Films and Electus have brought a rap battle series called Road to Total Slaughter to both Fuse TV and WatchLOUD.com.

Road to Total Slaughter will follow eight top battle rappers as the vie for a place in Total Slaughter, a live rap battle event that will take place on July 12th. A feature on the WatchLOUD.com website introduces viewers for the eight rappers who will show off their skills. These won’t be the sort of rap battles YouTube viewers are used to.

While it is co-produced by WatchLOUD.com, Road to Total Slaughter will debut on Fuse TV. The music-focused digital cable channel will air new episodes each Wednesday night at midnight. Four episodes will air in total, with each one playing out different matchups in a single elimination tournament that determines which rappers will win places in Total Slaughter.

After running on TV, episodes will come to WatchLOUD.com, where they will be available in an uncensored format. The Electus-run channel has previously aired two other Shady Films productions. In early 2013, it hosted Detroit Rubber, an engaging look inside a famous Detroit shoe store. A couple months later, it presented CRWN, a talk show that featured some of the biggest names in hip-hop as guests.

The first of four Road to Total Slaughter episodes arrives at midnight on June 18th (technically June 19th, but really, who’s keeping track). Hip-hop heads should not miss it.
