Philip DeFranco Is A Dad

On April 21st, Philip DeFranco announced his plan to take a break from The Philip DeFranco Show as he awaited the birth of his baby boy. One day later, his wife Lindsay successfully gave birth, introducing the world to Philip DeFranco III (AKA Trey).

Trey’s birth comes six months after the DeFrancos first announced Lindsay’s pregnancy to Philip’s millions of YouTube subscribers. The event has caused the hashtag #BabyDeFranco to trend on Twitter. Defranco himself welcomed his son into the world with a tweet of his own, one which includes the first picture of Trey. D’awww.

The team over at DeFranco’s Vloggity

channel has put together a video offering their congratulations to their boss. A handful of YouTubers also appear in the congratulatory video, including ShayCarl, Harley Morenstein, Alphacat, Grace Helbig, Rhett and Link, iJustine, Michael Buckley, and SourceFed hosts Joe Bereta, Trisha Hershberger, Meg Turney, and William Haynes.

Defranco will return to The Philip DeFranco Show when he’s good and ready, though he may soon take a longer leave of absence. He previously noted that he is considering leaving his flagship program in 2014, with his marriage and the birth of his son as major contributing factors. After seeing how cute his kid is, can you really blame him? We look forward to seeing adorable baby vlogs once Trey steps in front of his dad’s video camera for the first time.
