Vine Star Brittany Furlan Partners With Endemol Beyond

Brittany Furlan has partnered up with one of YouTube’s newest multi-channel networks. The online video creator, who has 5.8 million followers on Vine, has signed with Endemol Beyond.

Furlan was already slated to appear in Super Happy Fun Time, Yeah! (SHFTY), an upcoming program on Endemol Beyond’s YouTube comedy hub. Furlan is one of four Viners involved in SHFTY, but she has extended her relationship with Endemol by joining the Netherlands-based company’s MCN. “Brittany Furlan is one of the funniest, most talented and beautiful people working today,” said Endemol Beyond USA President Will Keenan, who added that “Furlan’s unique brand of humor makes her a perfect fit for our beyondCOMEDY vertical.”

Furlan was one of the first “Vine stars” on Twitter’s six-second video curation app, rising to the top of the platform just six months after it first launched. Her 5.8 million followers are third most among Vine users; only Nash Grier and KingBach have more.

In addition to Furlan, Endemol Beyond has also elbowed its way into the YouTube space  by partnering with YouTubers like MattyB and traditional media celebrities like Pitbull and Mr. Bean. The network was recently added to the Digital Content Newfronts slate, and Furlan will be in attendance to help promote what she termed an “online show format based on [her] ‘adults say the darndest things’ concept.” We’re excited to learn how the Queen of Vine plans to become to Queen of YouTube as well.
