When A Tech Vlogger’s House Burns Down, YouTube Community Has His Back

On January 29th, a fire destroyed the home of tech vlogger Austin Evans. Luckily, Evans and the rest of the residents of his building were able to escape unharmed, but the YouTube creator lost most of his possessions, including his custom built PCs. The YouTube tech community decided to do its part to remedy this cruel twist of fate. It banded together to help Evans out, buying him a new Mac Pro.

Evans did manage to save one computer, but a group led by the tldtoday and Unbox Therapy channels purchased him a shiny new one. Some of the participating tech vloggers then flew to Evans and surprised him with the gift, chronicling everything in a heartwarming vlog.
