Amazing Jack Vale Prank Is A Reminder To Safeguard Your Social Media

Jack Vale‘s latest video also teaches viewers an important lesson. The YouTube prankster devised a genius video where he recited personal information about random strangers by finding and perusing their social media profiles.

The video is, intentionally or not, a take on an ad for a Belgian Internet banking company that went viral last year. What makes Vale’s version more impressive is that he discovers information without knowing anyone’s name beforehand; instead, he found social media profiles in his area and then matched the faces of people near him to similar profile pics. From that point on, he was home free. However, he loses two points for not knowing that Richard Parker is a Life Of Pi

Vale‘s epic prank is obviously meant primarily as entertainment, but it also carries with it an important message: Guard your social media profiles closely. You should take a second look at the information you’ve made public, and you should probably put everything on private, too. If you don’t, there could be a YouTube prankster stalking you, slowly gathering enough information to publicly humiliate you.
