Philip Defranco Uses YouTube To Announce He’s Going To Be A Dad

Philip Defranco is going to be a dad, and he wants the whole world to know. The top YouTube personality took to his secondary vlogging channel alongside his fiancée, Lindsay Doty, and the happy couple announced that Doty is 12 weeks pregnant with their first baby.

Defranco proposed to Doty seven weeks ago at a live show in Arizona, but they didn’t learn of her pregnancy until after the proposal, thus satisfying any traditional old fogeys among Philly D’s fanbase. Their offspring will one of the first children born from two YouTuber parents; while the Shaytards have given YouTube viewers a hint of what it’s like to grow up with your every action registered in a vlog, that concept is still a novel one. In their reveal video, Defranco and Doty choose their words wisely. After all, this is for posterity’s sake.

I’m sure Baby Defranco won’t be the slightest bit embarrassed when he discovers this video as a teenager and hears his parents talk of “pulling the goalie.”
