Ever wonder what N.A.S.A. stands for? Me neither.  However, Brooklyn rap group The Underachievers have an answer.  Their latest video for ‘N.A.S.A (New Age Smoker’s Anthem)’ is a free flowing stand out jam from their latest mixtape Lords of Flatbush.  The buzzy Brooklyn group has been steadily gaining speed and attention ahead of their highly anticipated album The Cellar Door

, which has yet to receive a release date but is likely to drop via Brainfeeder.  The new video should whet your appetite ahead of the new record, and some upcoming tour dates along side the Pro Era crew are likely to feature new songs as well.

The clip is a straight up performance of the hook heavy summer jam.  It is shot in and around the borough they call home, aka the county of Kings.  Their Flatbush, Brooklyn neighborhood is as much the star as are the eponymous rappers.  In addition to showing off their neighborhood hangout spots, the video also features the plant one is usually expected to smoke when singing a ‘Smokers Anthem.’ It is not necessary to indulge in any smoking to enjoy the tune, but from the looks of it, The Underachievers are certainly able to achieve above and beyond their nomme de plume and yet stay true to the wonderful plant so many musicians write odes about.  So if you do partake, be sure to blast this track as “high” as possible.
