Mark Malkoff Checks Out New York City From A Baby’s Point Of View

Since he began producing The Mark Malkoff Challenge for distribution on My Damn Channel, MSN, and YouTube, comedian Mark Malkoff has engaged in a number of public stunts, ranging from crowdsourced beard shaving to out-of-season trick-or-treating to short-distance taxi riding. His latest effort is one of his most attention-grabbing ones yet. Malkoff has posted an episode where he entertains passersby and viewers alike by riding around Manhattan in a Baby Bjorn carried by 30 Rock actor Grizz Chapman.

Chapman, who stands over seven feet tall, has more than enough strength to haul the 5’7″ Malkoff around the city. Malkoff reacts to his Bjorn experience in the same way any of us would: with lots of smiles and naps. The only question is where Malkoff got a Bjorn so big that even he could fit in it. Maybe he stole from the nearly-14-pound baby

who was recently born in Pennsylvania.

“You know you’re doing something right when jaded New Yorkers are freaking out over something,” Malkoff told Mashable. Sure enough, the video shows plenty of onlookers snapping photos of the odd couple, who are a far cry from the typical mother-and-child Bjorn tandems commonly seen around the city.

Malkoff has now released nearly a dozen stunts are since The Mark Malkoff Challenge began, and though the show doesn’t seem to have a particularly fixed schedule, we can expect plenty more videos in the near future. New Yorkers should keep their eyes peeled for the shameless stuntman, though something tells me he won’t be hard to spot.
