‘Drunk History’s TV Premiere On Comedy Central Draws 907,000 Viewers

Drunk History made its television debut on Tuesday, July 9 on Comedy Central. The program originally aired as a web series on Funny or Die way back in August 2007 and features inebriated comedians recounting classic events from America’s past by way of slurred speech and celebrity reenactments in period costumes.

According to our friends at RatingsIntel, a television research firm that  puts TV ratings into context, 907,000 viewers tuned into Drunk History’s TV premiere, and the program came in third in its time slot in key demographics versus other cable shows.
