Felicia Day Will Play A Ginger (Get It?) On ‘Annoying Orange’ TV Show

The second season of Cartoon Network’s The High Fructose Adventures Of Annoying Orange has only just begun, but the guest stars are already rolling in. In the upcoming fourth installment of the new batch of episodes, Felicia Day will return to the series, playing an anthropomorphic ginger root. Get it?

Day previously appeared on Annoying Orange as Peach, a character who has also been voiced by Shira Lazar in the web series version of the show. Playing a ginger is, however, more fitting for Day; if there’s one thing Annoying Orange loves, it’s incredibly groan-inducing puns.

Other YouTube notables, such as iJustine and Toby Turner, continue to have regular roles on the program, which made the jump to TV in 2012. Lots of other guest stars joined them, which is unsurprising when you consider how appealing it is to get paid to talk in silly voices. The show’s season 1 DVD recently became available on Amazon, if you’re into that whole ‘buying DVDs’ thing.

Annoying Orange continues to draw strong ratings for Cartoon Network, showing that the people who made the web series a smash hit also have access to TVs. To check out Day’s latest performance, tune in June 6th at 6:30.
