Boston Marathon Live Stream Shows Aftermath of Explosions

At least two deaths and dozens of injuries have been reported after two bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon at approximately 2:50PM on  Monday, April 15.

The Boston Globe has the full and developing story, while Deadspin and Mashable have aggregated a number of relevant social media posts from eye witnesses relaying information or harrowing imagery from the tragic event. Users on Reddit are also compiling a comprehensive list of links from around the web with information relating to the explosions and Boston Globe’s Twitter account is a fantastic source for incoming information. A Wikipedia page related to the bombings has also been created and already seen thousands of edits as authorities continue to discover new details about the event and relay that information to the public.

CBS Boston’s live stream of the finish line is still up and running, depicting the evacuated aftermath of the explosions with emergency vehicles in the background and an American flag still waving in the wind.

Note that if you’re trying to get in touch with friends and family who may have been affected by the explosions, officials have shut down cellphone service in Boston to avoid any remote detonation of remaining explosive devices. The Boston Police Department is also looking for videos of the finish line that may have been taken by fans and onlookers. If you have any footage, please contact them on Twitter.
