Eater Seeks Funny Foodies For Upcoming Web Series

Amazon isn’t the only entity looking for cast members to fill out its web series slate. Eater is trying to find talent, too.

The self-described “source for people who care about dining and drinking in the nation’s most important food cities” recently announced it’s actively seeking New York City-based comedians to appear as on-camera hosts and commentators in at least a couple of “crazy new web video projects in the works.” If you’re funny, a foodie, and are familiar with the names David Chang, Danny Bowein, Andy Ricker, Auguste Escoffier

, send a reel to jobs@eater.com “along with a short description of yourself and your interest in the gig.”

No word yet on whether the Eater programs will focus on gonzo food porn, how-to cooking vids, or something else entirely, but I’d expect some a slightly snarky, but informative tone and insider-y vantage points that’s still palatable to mainstream audiences. Stay tuned.
