Cute Animals Coming To Revision3 Via Fishbowl’s Petsami

Revision3 has impressed us by partnering up with a talented collection of creators (including Philip Defranco and The Fine Bros) and today the Discovery-owned network added another big name to its lineup, partnering with Fishbowl Worldwide Media‘s Petsami channel. Petsami content will now be available on Revision3, and the studio will invest in Fishbowl so that the UGC-oriented production studio can create additional original content.

Petsami is the second Fishbowl channel to join up with Revision3; the healthy network also distributes CuteWinFail, Fishbowl’s most popular channel. Though Petsami is up to 25 million views, about half of CuteWinFail’s total, it still lags far behind in subs by more than 236 thousand. Partner with Revision3 should do well to combat that particular problem by providing addition exposure for the animal-oriented channel.

Sure enough, increasing Petsami’s viewership is one of Fishbowl’s top goals for the partnership. “The Petsami audience — as well as its desire for new, original content — continues to grow.” said David Beebe

, Vice President of FishBowl. “Working with Revision3, we will continue to develop and retain this engaged group, while increasing the opportunity for relevant brand integrations and new extensions of the core Petsami brand.”

As for Revision3, they hope their new signing will allow the network to dive into previously uncharted waters. “Petsami has built a consistently growing audience, passionate about animals and entertaining clips,” said Ryan Vance, Senior Vice President at Revision3. “As we continue to grow into new content areas, including Animals, we’re looking to Petsami and Fishbowl to be one of our tent-pole partners.” If this happy marriage continues, perhaps LindoVictoriaFracaso will become Revision3’s first Spanish-language channel. Arriba!
