Duran Duran Live and on YouTube with American Express

Did you miss the Duran Duran concert at SXSW? Are you hungry like the wolf to see them live and on stage? Did you see what I did there? Would you travel to Rio and back to catch one of their shows? How about there? Did you see what I did there?

If you answered yes to any of the above, save a prayer (What about that one? Did you catch that one?) because you can see Simon, Nick, John, and Roger from the comfort of your computer screen care of YouTube and American Express.

Duran Duran played the latest concert last night in Amex’s Unstaged series, which features live streamed performances from famous musical acts with directors of equal or greater importance and name recognition calling the shots. For Example, Brazil’s mastermind Terry Gilliam directed the show played by the Grammy Award-winning Arcade Fire

late last year and last night Duran Duran took cues from quinoa lover David Lynch.

It’s a beautiful show, with special effects evocative of 1980s music videos updated for the new millennium. You can catch highlights on Duran Duran’s Vevo Channel. If you like what you hear, you can pickup a copy of the band’s latest album, All You Need is Now in a record store near you.
