Tubefilter’s Best of the Web this Friday at American Cinematheque

One of the things we’re most passionate about at Tubefilter is discovering and showcasing the amazing content produced by web television creators from around the world. This Friday, May 7th, we’re inviting you to join us for The Best of the Web with American Cinemateque at the historic Egyptian Theater here in Hollywood. We’ll be screening selections from some of the nominees and winners of this year’s Streamys Awards, as well as a whole slew of content from around the web — some you’ve seen, and some you haven’t.

Since October 2009, American Cinematheque’s Blows Up the Internet series has been taking the biggest and best in the world of online entertainment, including Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, FunnyOrDie, Strike.tv, and Crackle.com, and blowing it up on the glorious big screen

to sold out crowds at Cinematheque’s world famous historic Egyptian Theater. At 7:30 PM this Friday, Tubefilter will invade the Egyptian Theater with the stars and creators of the hottest web series and online entertainment. Stay tuned this week as we leak details about the screening and join us after the show at Musso and Frank Grill for a drink and mingle with the stars and creators of your favorite web series.

Tickets are available now on Fandango.com or at the Egyptian Theater box office. Tickets are $7 for Cinematheque Members and $11 for the public. All proceeds will go to benefit American Cinematheque and more donations are welcome.
