The monthly, five-minute film festival where the unfunny shows get voted off the island will be screening in front of a live, evocative audience from its fancy pants new digs at the 92YTribeca.
As if the opportunity to meet the creators of some of online video’s most wonderfully obscure programs and watch their wares isn’t reason enough to attend, this screening is extra-super special.
Both the perennial classic The Defenders of Stan and high-octane, shears-toting, law enforcement thrill ride Scissor Cop are scheduled to self-cancel. That means that after a respective 19 months and 6 months atop Channel 101 NY’s Prime Time, both series will air an extra-awesome, extra-long final installment that runs well beyond the five-minute time limit (which is an automatic disqualification).
