'Break a Leg' Creators Document 'Great Moments in Technology'

Since Yuri and Vlad Baranovksy have put their irreverent Hollywood web series Brek a Leg on hiatus, the brothers have kept themselves busy. In addition to working on finding funding and a home for their satire of paparazzi-fueled, celebrity gossip blogs and culture, the pair’s newly christened Happy Little Guillotine Films teamed up with Next New Networks to create a six-part comedy series showcasing a highly improvised version of important moments in technological history (the creation of the computer, video games, webcam, etc.).

Dubbed Great Moments in Technology the series is sponsored by WePC (a kind of consumer-level message board and community think tank for personal computers), follows another six-part series from WePC on how computers have changed the music industry, and debuts January 9.

Judging by the well-executed old-timey movie-reel voice over, the anyone-can-edit-Wikipedia joke (those are always funny), and the Baranovskys previous work, this should be a fun little series worth the watch.
