'James Gunn's PG Porn' is Taking Sexy Out

James Gunn’s PG Porn is not porn.  It can’t be.  Like Beautiful Agony, there’s no naked, no sex.  But unlike Beautiful Agony, PG Porn doesn’t spotlight the “tense breathing and expectation, the occasional contortion of neck muscles and eyebrows, an outburst followed by glowing relaxation” associated with sexual release.  It focuses on what everyone’s actually watching porn for anyway: the story.

It’s got all the fabulous acting, cinematography, and dialogue you’ve grown accustomed to fast forward to, without that annoying people-having-sex thing in between.  Just at the point where you think things could get hot, heavy, and nude, something happens to spoil the mood.

The Scooby Doo and Dawn of the Dead writer explains with adult actress Aria Giovanni below :

Produced by Safran Digital Group – which has a ton of original horror/supernatural series in the work for Xbox Live

, including Gunn’s Sloth-inspired Humanzee – the send-up pornography show “everyone can enjoy, not just perverts,” was created by Gunn with brothers Brian and Sean.

In addition to Giovanni, adult film stars Belladonna, Sasha Grey, and Jenna Haze will act alongside Nathan Fillion (Captain Hammer from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Alon Blog) and Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville) in a series of “clean smut” shorts safe for the whole family.

The first episode of PG Porn (dubbed “Nailing Your Wife”) will feature Fillion inhabiting “the role of ‘Chris,’ who doesn’t have any sex whatsoever with his boss’s wife, Mrs. Grimes (Giovani).”  Catch the not-action October 8 on Spike.com and/or PGPorn.tv.
