After some “Hiatus Fun,” the Internet’s most beloved animated sitcom starring animal actors pining for Hollywood’s limelight is back for a fourth season full of “thrills, chills, spills, ridiculous accents, and awkward silences.” ###
Over the past five weeks, fans of Unleashed (Tilzy.TV page) have reveaed a more intimate side to their favorite human and canine characters through a series of personalized videoblogs. The shorts give some comedic insight into the neuroses of those trying to make it big in a dog-eat-dog world and allowed the show’s creators some creative room to play. “It’s nice to get outside the narrative for a while and just mess around,” Ben Zelevansky, one of the threesome who started the series told me over e-mail. “Also much easier to animate, so it gives our production staff a little breather.”
But now it’s back to showbiz.
In the season 4 premiere, Dog turns down an audition for a “My Son the Pilot,” TV pilot with famed television director James Burrows because he’s sick of playing canine roles, despite actually being a canine. New season, still the same old happily depressive Dog.
