Next New Networks, ever fond of creating online networks for niche constituencies that aren’t often being courted by the online video community, has teamed up with UGO launched Total MMO, a network for massively multiplayer online game players.
The first series to premiere on the site is MMO Update, a gaming news show hosted by Abra Chouinard. She’s no Casey McKinnon, but it’s only the second episode. The information presented on the show covers blogs, hot sites, popular communities, and even legal concerns facing the MMO industry.
I’m curious to see what the other shows will be like. There’s a tendency to overextend for niche audiences when there isn’t really enough relevant content for more than one or two shows. But we’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, check out MMO Update on Total MMO:
