Starting last Monday, basketball fans, players, and anyone who could possibly have a decent shot at winning an NBA contest was asked to send in a 3-minute highlight reel that tells your life story, your “skillz,” and your signature move.
Why? Because 30 entrants will be admitted to the NBA Development League Pre-Draft Camp. 29 of those will be chosen by a panel from the organization and the final roster spot will be chosen by fans.
You have until July 9 to submit your video, so check out the official submission rules and send yours in. Some videos are already available online to view so you can see what your competition’s like. They seem somewhat embarrassing and amateurish, so shoot for something better than those two adjectives and you’ll probably have a great shot at winning.
Also, when I say that “some videos are already available online,” I mean four. So if you’re at all interested in taking part in a pre-draft camp with 30 eligible slots to join for free, you should consider entering this contest where only four videos have been submitted one week after the competition’s begun.
Check out an example of your competition. If you can’t beat that, you’re doing something wrong.
