Check out Wallstrip on TheStreet

In my last post, I made a comment about how you’re not as likely to see Wallstrip on the Wall Street Journal‘s site as you are to see (and can see) Jeff Jarvis’ PrezVid on WashingtonPost.com. That’s true. But you can still watch it on online financial network The Street.

The Street, which includes business news, stock analysis, updated market overviews, and a host of straightforward financial videos, has been airing episodes of Wallstrip on The Street TV since the two sites inked a deal together in March.

Like a comedy show for stock traders, Wallstrip gives lighthearted but worthwhile advice about the market, making it ideal additional content for a dry site like The Street, which focuses on the prices, mutual funds, and minute-to-minute stock updates. Host Lindsay Campbell makes investing seem less like an intensive second career and more like a fun hobby. Granted, a fun hobby that may or may not make you lose a lot of money, but a fun hobby all the same.

Lindsay gives trading tips based on month and season in the latest episode, which she narrates like a poem with whimsical music playing in the background. Self-serious is never a big theme on Wallstrip, but sound advice and making viewers have a good time while they hear it seems to be the show’s mission statement.

Check out today’s episode of Wallstrip on The Street.
