It’s another installment of the weekly Tubefilter Chart of the Top 50 Most Viewed U.S. YouTube Channels and you can’t stop, won’t stop four-year-old Ryan.

Chart Toppers

Ryan ToysReview held onto its first-place spot on the U.S. chart for the eighth week in a row. Titular Ryan’s repository of playtime and toy unboxing footage dipped 3% on the week, but still amassed an impressive almost 116.7 million views. In a semi-distant second place is Chainsmokers. The DJ duo’s poppy new hit “Closer” is still getting plays, pushing the channel up 18% in views to top out at 98.2 million on the week.

In the #3 spot is FamilyFunPack. America’s favorite vlogging family of seven dipped 9% in views to take home over 87 million throughout the week. Next up in fourth place is Calvin Harris. The Scottish multi-hyphenate music man’s YouTube channel stayed relatively constant, clocking in at 81.3 million views during the week.

And rounding out the Top 5 is Justin Bieber. The international pop star’s home on the world’s largest video sharing site closed out the week with nearly 81 million views.

Top Gainers

The honor of one of our Top Gainers this week goes to Saturday Night Live.

NBC’s famed sketch comedy show returned on October 1, 2017 for its 42nd season. And it did so in commanding fashion, with a “Cold Open” featuring Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, played respectively by Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon. Baldwin’s much-hyped Trump impression delivered and the upload quickly became one of the most-viewed videos on SNL’s YouTube channel of all-time, racking up an eight-figure view count and contributing to the channel’s overall 252% week-over-week increase in views, nearly 38 million views on the week, and #30 spot on the U.S. chart.

Channel Distribution

The top 50 most viewed U.S. YouTube channels this week amassed a total of 2,489,831,699 views. Here’s the distribution of a few of those channels by multi-channel network:

VEVO: 16 channels in the U.S. Top 50, with Chainsmokers the top-ranked channel of the network at #2.
Maker Studios, Studio71: 3 channels each in the Top 50, with Maker’s Markiplier at #23 and Studio71’s FamilyFunPack at #3.
BuzzFeed, Movieclips, NBCU, WMG: 2 channels each in the Top 50, with BuzzFeed’s BuzzFeedVideo at #11, Movieclips’ Movieclips at #33, NBCU’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at #29, and WMG’s Fueled By Ramen at #9.
