After a month filled with all sorts of soccer discourse, the 2026 FIFA World Cup has reached its conclusion. It’s time for a new topic to define our weekly rankings, but what will that trend be? The #1 channel in the Global Sub Top 50 gives us some clues as to what’s next.

The channel in question is headlined by Arishnev, a Russian creator who plies his trade in the world of brainrot. Arishnev’s short-form videos, which attracted 1.4 million weekly subscribers, feature a bevy of pop culture characters. One of those heroes is a relative newcomer who caught my eye.
Is a ladybug superhero Gen Alpha’s next big thing?
If you’re not a parent, you may not know about Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. The French animated series is a superhero tale that has aired for six seasons. Over the course of its decade-long run, it has been broadcast in the U.S. across Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and Netflix.
Now, Miraculous characters are making their mark on YouTube Shorts. Arishnev’s push to the #1 spot in the Global Sub Top 50 was driven by the usual assortment of Italian brainrot media and KPop Demon Hunters references, but the Russian creator has also made some room for Ladybug.
Miraculous has a lot of qualities that give it a good to become the next big property on YouTube Shorts. It’s kid-friendly, familiar among its Gen Alpha target audience, and broadcast around the world. Cat Noir’s costume fits into a long history of feline content on YouTube, and Ladybug has clearly become a fan favorite.
It would seem that Russian creators are particularly attuned to the growing popularity of the Miraculous franchise. In addition to Arishnev, another entrant in this week’s Global Sub Top 50 is SASHA SHOW, who brought in 360,000 new subscribers during the third week of June. He landed in 40th place in our subscriber ranking.
SASHA SHOW, like Arishnev, alludes to a lot of different kid-friendly characters, but Ladybug is his true love. Why else would he purport to marry the superhero in one of his recent videos? His fans ate it up, propelling him to one of his biggest weekly view counts of 2026.
Miraculous shows no signs of slowing down. It has its own Roblox event, an upcoming world tour on deck, and even a line of frozen yogurt that’s available on retail shelves now.
Translation: If you don’t yet know about this global family favorite, now’s the time to educate yourself. Miraculous could do to the back half of 2026 what KPop Demon Hunters did to the back half of 2025 — as long as Rumi and the gang are willing to step aside and make some room for Ladybug and Cat Noir.
