Fox Entertainment is eager to get on board with creators, so it has hired an executive who knows how to make those partnerships happen. Billy Parks, a seasoned content exec who has had stints at Slow Ventures, Fullscreen, and Astronauts Wanted, is the new Head of Fox Creator Studios.
Parks will head up the fledgling content division Fox announced at the 2026 CES conference in January. By partnering with a mix of traditional celebrities and social media stars — including Gordon Ramsay and Rosanna Pansino — Fox Creator Studios will aim to cultivate new formats, fresh talent, and original pieces of intellectual property.
“Creators today aren’t waiting for permission. They’re building the most dynamic media business in the world on their terms, recognizing that the future belongs to ideas that travel,” Parks said in a statement. “FOX has a storied legacy of empowering great creative talent, and FOX Creator Studios is a natural extension of that legacy. Our goal is to meet creators where they are, respect what they’ve already built and help them grow, whether that means launching a new format, expanding into new verticals or scaling their brand across platforms.”

“FOX Creator Studios represents a fundamental evolution in how we work with today’s most dynamic storytellers, bridging the gap between Hollywood and the rapidly expanding creator economy,” added Fox Entertainment CEO Rob Wade. “Billy has built his career at the forefront of creator-driven media, blending creative instinct with investment and operational expertise. He understands that today’s creators are founders and brand builders, and he knows how to scale their ideas into enduring businesses. As we expand our digital ecosystem, we want to empower creators to bring their dreams to life, and Billy is the ideal leader to drive that effort.”
If Fox’s goal is to make connections between creator voices and studio-friendly formats, then Parks is the right man for the job. Long before concepts like Creator TV were a thing, Parks worked alongside production units that delivered premium programs led by the biggest stars on platforms like YouTube, Vine, and Snapchat. Over the past decade, he has been a C-level exec at the forward-thinking studio Astronauts Wanted, an SVP at multi-channel network Fullscreen, and a Partner at the venture firm Slow, which has deployed its capital to back creators in “high-value verticals.”
Last week, Parks announced on LinkedIn that he would be leaving Slow, though that post didn’t reveal what his next move will be. We now know that Parks is joining an entertainment company that has made creators a top priority. Fox is seeking the sort of high-quality, creator-led programming Parks has long produced. Want evidence? Just look at the lineup on the Fox-owned streaming service Tubi, where former TikTok exec Kudzi Chikumbu is spearheading a push into serialized creator projects.
Parks’ arrival brings more internal synergy into that pipeline. The new Head of Fox Creator Studios will seek the partnerships and monetization models that will allow Fox’s ambitious initiative to reach its full potential. Fox Creator Studios may be focused on food content right now, but the plan is to expand into several more categories, and Parks will be the man leading the way.
