As Super Bowl LX fades into the rearview mirror, the creator world is moving on to the next big U.S. sports tentpole: the NBA All-Star Weekend. The brightest hoops stars are headed to Los Angeles for some fun and games, and when they arrive, they’ll be greeted by a veritable horde of social media standouts.
According to Variety, the NBA has assembled a “small army of top creators,” who will be integrated into All-Star Weekend events. In total, more than 200 creators are slated to participate in the hardwood activations that will take place from February 13-15. Both the Intuit Dome — the home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers — and the L.A. Convention Center will host All-Star Weekend events.
Through those team-ups, the NBA will widen its social media presence while simultaneously helping its partners grow their channels. “L.A. is the creator capital of the world,” said NBA SVP of Social and Digital Content Bob Carney in an interview with Variety. “They’re in the content business like every single day, which is fascinating to watch them all work. They’re always working because they’re producing such a high volume of content that they need variety, and they need different settings to create content.”

For creators who make basketball-themed videos, NBA All-Star Weekend is arguably the most important event on the calendar. It’s an opportunity to get face time with basketball royalty, and the light-hearted tone of the festivities serves creators who operate in categories like comedy, pranks, and challenges.
Recent developments have turned that tentpole into an even bigger creator spectacle. Many marketers now see the creator economy as a “must buy,” platforms like YouTube are increasing their investments in pro sports, and basketball has become a hot topic in our Tubefilter charts. In the most recent edition of the Global Sub Top 50 ranking, hoops creator Jesser ranked 42nd after adding 300,000 new subscribers in a single week.
At the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend, those trends will converge in the biggest creator hotbed in the United States. A Creator Cup at the L.A. Convention Center will feature ballers like Cam Wilder and Kris London, and the All-Star Celebrity Game participants include sports creator Jenna Bandy, Insta-famous coach Lethal Shooter, and Dude Perfect Co-Founder Cody Jones.
As the scene shifts to the Intuit Dome on Saturday night, creators like Bree Green will be granted behind-the-scenes access. Heading into the All-Star Game on Sunday, Jesser will pull off the biggest stunt of all: He will stay overnight in the Inuit Dome and will record his experience.
From this point on, there’s no going back: NBA All-Star Weekend is on track to become as much of a creator stomping ground as the Super Bowl. February is now a massive moment for sports personalities, and the NBA’s trip to L.A. will emphasize that trend.
