For the latest addition to his family-oriented brand, Ryan Kaji is donning a ninja outfit. The 11-year-old will star in Ryan’s World Ninja Adventures, a multi-pronged content initiative born out of a partnership between the Kaji family’s Sunlight Entertainment and their partners at the family-focused content network pocket.watch.
According to pocket.watch — which has worked closely with the Kajis since Ryan was just five years old — the new venture will bring videos and specials to the Ryan’s World channel. On that hub, which reaches more than 35 million subscribers, Ryan and his sisters will meet ninja-themed characters and jump through obstacle courses. A trailer for the upcoming content uses similar colors and designs as the anime series Naruto, which depicts the lives of fictitious ninjas.

Ryan’s World Ninja Adventures is inspired by the Kaji family’s recent trip to Japan, where they trained alongside real-life ninjas. A special documenting that journey will come to the Ryan’s World channel later this month.
Ninja-related content will also come to Ryan’s World hubs on streaming services like Roku. To help promote the launch of their new initiative, the Kaji family is teaming up with some of their longtime brand partners. Their presence at Walmart will grow thanks to a line of Ninja Adventures toys. Buyers can add personalized messages to the toys by requesting shoutouts from Ryan on Cameo.
The new Ryan’s World videos will reach YouTube’s community of ninja-loving kids. Channels like Ninja Kidz TV have made appearances in our weekly Top 50 rankings. Ninja Kidz has built on its brand by opening a high-flying “action park,” where kids can attempt to copy the acrobatic moves they see in ninja videos.
Ryan’s interest in ninjas involves more than just cool stunts. His father Shion, who grew up in Japan, described Ninja Adventures as “a fun way for my kids to build a deeper connection to my childhood.”
