Kidding, kidding. The above question for the ages came from U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who tonight will stream buzzy multiplayer game Among Us with Canadian Member of Parliament Jagmeet Singh. Singh and Ocasio-Cortez will be joined by Twitch streamers Northernlion (369K followers) and HasanAbi (821K). The latter was one of numerous popular streamers to join Ocasio-Cortez for her first Among Us stream in October; that broadcast launched her Twitch channel (743K) and drew 439,000 viewers.
Both Ocasio-Cortez and Singh are known for connecting with constituents online. While Ocasio-Cortez is new to Twitch, she’s long held Instagram and Twitter live streams that generally involve her cooking as she discusses legislation and answers questions about politics from viewers. Singh, meanwhile, maintains a very active account on TikTok, where he has 511K followers.
The duo will kick off their stream tonight at 7 p.m. EST.
