Tyler Oakley has signed with top talent agency WME as the YouTube luminary looks to launch his own production company.
While programming plans for the venture have yet to be announced, Oakley has become one of YouTube’s biggest stars over the course of his decade-long career. The outspoken LGBTQ rights activist counts 7.8 million subscribers — and 23 million followers across all social platforms.
Currently, Oakley hosts a weekly podcast called Psychobable. Other projects include a New York Times Best Selling book called Binge, the self-produced Snervous tour documentary, a stint on CBS‘ The Amazing Race, hosting gigs at various red carpet events, a celebrity interview show on Ellen DeGeneres’ digital network, and a limited edition glasses range with Warby Parker.
