The first-ever book from YouTube duo Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal — better known to their legions of subscribers as Rhett & Link — has debuted at No. 1 on The New York Times’ Best Sellers list in the ‘Advice, How-To & Miscellaneous’ category.
First announced in February, McLaughlin and Neal’s Book Of Mythicality: A Field Guide To Curiosity, Creativity, And Tomfoolery features comedy and advice from the two online luminaries — in the form of charts, photos, activity ideas, and never-before-told stories about their lifelong friendship. Upon its release On Oct. 10 by Crown Artchetype, the Book Of Mythicality soared to the No. 4 spot on Amazon’s ‘Humor’ charts.
McLaughlin and Neal are currently hitting the road to support the book’s release on their so-called Tour Of Mythicality. The 16-city show — which will feature comedic stories, performances of their hit songs, offbeat life advice, and fan Q&As — will conclude in December. McLaughlin and Neal are also gearing up for the relaunch next month their flagship talk show, Good Mythical Morning, with some added funding from YouTube.
